Inception Anti-Corruption and Bribery Policy

1. Policy Statement

Inception is committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in its business activities in the UK and overseas. This policy outlines our position on preventing and prohibiting bribery and corruption, in line with the UK Bribery Act 2010 and other relevant legislation.

2. Policy Scope

This policy applies to all individuals working at all levels within Inception, including directors, employees, consultants, contractors, and any other person associated with us, wherever located.

3. Policy Objectives

  • To conduct all our business in an honest and ethical manner.
  • To maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
  • To comply with all laws, regulations, and codes of practice related to anti-bribery and corruption.

4. Anti-Corruption and Bribery Measures

  • Risk Assessment: Regular assessments of the internal and external risks related to bribery and corruption.
  • Due Diligence: Conducting due diligence on potential and existing clients, suppliers, and partners.
  • Awareness and Training: Providing training to ensure our staff understands this policy and the risks of bribery and corruption.
  • Monitoring and Review: Implementing systems to monitor and review our compliance with relevant laws and this policy.
  • Reporting: Encouraging all staff to be vigilant and to report any suspicions of bribery, providing clear and safe channels for such reporting.

5. Gifts and Hospitality

  • Gifts and hospitality are acceptable under this policy if they are reasonable, transparent, and proportionate. However, they must not be offered or received with the intention of influencing a decision or gaining an unfair advantage.

6. Compliance, Monitoring, and Review

  • The policy will be regularly monitored and reviewed to ensure its effectiveness. Compliance with this policy is mandatory for all employees and persons associated with Inception.

7. Breaches of the Policy

  • Any breaches of this policy will be regarded as a serious matter by Inception and will result in disciplinary action, which may include dismissal, and could also lead to criminal prosecution.
