Adding a Ricoh Printer Driver (Chrome)

Adding a printer to a Google Chromebook (manual process)

If your Chromebook does not show your printer when you click ‘Add Printer’, you can add your printer using the below manual settings.

You’ll need to know your printer’s IP address. To find them, check your printer’s display panel, manual, device specs or help website.

Note: You will need ‘Administrator’ rights to add a printer, if your Chromebook does not let you add the printer, you may need to speak with your IT support.

  1. At the bottom right, select the time.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. At the bottom, select Advanced.
  4. In the ‘Printing’ section, select Printers.
  5. Select Add Printer.
  6. Optional: To quickly add a nearby printer, click Add Nearby Printers. If you see a list of printers but don’t see your printer, select Add Manually.

    • Name: Enter a memorable name to call the printer.
    • Address: Enter your printer’s IP address.
